My husband and I stayed here over the years and always had excellent accommodations. We recently stayed last week and I can’t say enough about the over the top hospitality that we received. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. Karen and Alison go out of their way to make you feel at home. We will be staying with them again on our next visit to the beautiful Lake District!

The location to the center of town is a plus. The staff are so helpful with suggesting places to go and visit and places to eat. They constantly make sure all your needs are met. Every attention to detail is met. I am very impressed by their kindness and genuine hospitality.

The breakfast here comes on nice warm plates, the location is perfect and convenient near public transport and the city center, and there's a great spot nearby, the Lounge Hotel and Bar, for relaxing.

The hotel is gorgeous and the staff are very friendly and attentive. the room and bathroom are well equipped and extremely pleasant. the location is particularly good, perfect for visiting the Lake District. the full English breakfast is savory and served at 6:15, and the Wi-Fi is excellent. It's also close to the Coast to Coast ride and many restaurants.

The food here was amazing, the staff were attentive and the location next to the Lakes and North Pennines was exceptionally nice.

The staff at Blue Swallow were very friendly and helpful. the room had a great selection of coffees and the bed was extremely comfortable. - There were plenty of options for a delicious cooked breakfast.

amazing stay at a lovely b&b in penrith. cozy room with great coffee selection and spotless cleanliness. secure bike storage and perfect location near town center but quiet at night. breakfast was delicious and hosts were super helpful and accommodating. will definitely stay here again!

The rooms are extremely clean; the staff is friendly and deserving of a 4-star rating, and the hotel's location is superb, just a short distance from a historic castle.
